while these folks may look as if they are from hundreds of miles and decades
away, that's not the case. Ohio is home to the world's largest Amish population,
and through their back-to-basics lifestyle we can learn about life's simple
pleasures such as a soul-warming home-cooked meal, a hand-made piece of
furniture or a lovingly-stitched quilt -- all found in abundance in

Lake Golf
Course
Established in 1928, this
scenic and challenging 9-holes c ontinues
as the area's conveniently located regulation length (PAR 36) course. The
fairways are wide and the greens are medium and undulating. Good
drainage makes this course very playable in wet weather. All levels
of golfers can enjoy this course. Walking is permitted and carts are
allowed on the fairways. Available for your use, we have full
clubhouse facilities and locker rooms, rentals, practice putting green,
and snack bar. Outings welcomed. Weekend tee times. Click

Lake Park -
Long Lake Park activities
are centered around a 60 acre spring-fed lake with a white
sandy beach. If you enjoy swimming, fishing, camping,
picnicking, or just true relaxation of sitting by the water's edge,
Long Lake Park is the place to be. The park is built on 54 acres of
rolling, wooded hills and large open grassy fields. The lake is a 60
acre natural glacier lake, spring-fed and still pollution free.

Country's oldest destination park with nature at its best.
Many of our activities are centered around our 60 acre spring-fed
lake or on our white, sandy beach. If you enjoy swimming,
fishing, camping, picnicking, or just true relaxation of sitting by
